How do you say "fruit" in German?
The German word for fruit is "das Obst" (a single fruit is "die Frucht"). This game teaches the most common fruits, each with its gender article.
Why does each word start with der, die or das?
German nouns have a gender. "Der" marks masculine nouns, "die" marks feminine ones and "das" marks neuter ones. Learning the article together with the word is the easiest way to remember its gender.
